Hi, I’m Ashleigh – founder of SkalpD and a hair loss specialist with over 13 years of hands-on experience in this incredible industry.
I created SkalpD because I knew there had to be something better. Something more realistic. More wearable. More confidence-restoring.
Since launching in 2021, this method has helped transform not just my clients’ lives – but also the careers of salon professionals across the world.
Over the last four years, I’ve trained amazing stylists – both in person and on Zoom – and while their skills have always been strong, many struggled with confidence once back in the salon.

What is SkalpD?
SkalpD is a non-surgical hair loss system designed to mimic the appearance of a real scalp and hairline. It blends beautifully with your skin, giving you a natural, realistic look — and best of all, it’s tailored to the client.
No two systems are the same, because no two clients are the same. (unless they purchase a stock piece). Unlike traditional toppers or wigs, SkalpD uses a specialist scalp-replica base that sits flush to the head and gives the illusion of hair growing from the scalp.

Is SkalpD a wig or scalp micropigmentation (SMP)?
No. SkalpD is a bespoke scalp prosthesis. It is not SMP and not a standard wig.
Is this training online or in person?
Training is primarily delivered online through a dedicated learning portal. Some programmes may include calls, strategy sessions, or additional support.
Will I receive support after training?
Yes. While training programmes are not ongoing 1-to-1 mentoring, support is available when needed to help guide you and ensure best practice.
Once qualified, can I train others in the SkalpD method?
Training others under the SkalpD method is not automatic. This is only offered when both parties agree that the stylist is confident, competent, and ready to represent the method to the required standard.
Do I get access to the SkalpD factory?
Yes. Approved SkalpD professionals receive direct access to the SkalpD factory for ordering systems.
Is SkalpD education accredited?
SkalpD education is industry-led and experience-based. Accreditation details, where applicable, are outlined within each training option.
What is the Full Mastermind?
The Full Mastermind is a business and mindset mentoring programme specifically for professionals working in the hair loss industry. It focuses on confidence, pricing, boundaries, structure, and long-term sustainability.
Is the Mastermind suitable if I don’t offer SkalpD?
Yes. The Mastermind is designed for the hair loss industry as a whole, not just SkalpD practitioners.
Is there a guarantee of results?
Results depend on implementation, commitment, and individual circumstances. Education and mentoring provide guidance, not guarantees.
Do you offer location exclusivity or area licences for training?
No. We do not offer location exclusivity or area-based training licences.
We believe that not every client aligns with every stylist, just as you won’t align with every client and it’s important that people have choice when seeking hair loss support.

Will I receive access to my course straight away?
Yes. Once you’ve completed your purchase, you’ll be given a link to log into the training portal straight away so you can begin immediately.
Is there a time limit to complete the training?
No. You can work through the training at your own pace within your access period.
Can you review my client work?
Yes, each module is reviewed by Ashleigh herself in order for you to pass.
Will you help me price my services?
Pricing guidance may be discussed during strategy calls or support, but final pricing decisions are always the responsibility of the stylist.
Is patch testing required?
Yes. Patch testing is essential and must be carried out correctly before fitting a SkalpD system.
Can clients develop reactions even if they pass a patch test?
Yes. Reactions can occur due to illness, medication changes, stress, or changes within the body, even after a successful patch test.
How long do SkalpD systems last?
Lifespan varies depending on aftercare, lifestyle, and maintenance. Education around care and realistic expectations is part of the training.
Can I get a refund once I’ve accessed the training?
Due to the digital nature of the training, refunds are not available once access has been granted. Full terms are outlined at checkout.
